A stabbing backstitch uses double thread??? Is that the difference?
Just wondering if there are any simple, free web hosting sites that I could build my own website on. Thanks
Thanks girls Now that I've declared my hearts intentions, I better get at it
Well, It's been close to a year and a half since I last touched my bear "stuff" I think I am ready to start again but I'm not sure about the market for sales and keep hearing that everything is different on eBay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and bear blessings to all!!
I guess she sure told him!!
I love your bunny Sarah, she's so adorable!!
Beautiful bears!! I am totally in love with Misty as well!!!
I have one made and stuffed but he has no face or ears. I've lost my eye and nose box so he's been siting on a chair in my bedroom without a face for a the last 4-5 months. Even without a face he brings me comfort just being there.
I'm still searching for one last box of "stuff" that I need before I can start to make bears again I have a stack of pages from Victoria magazine that I adore. I wonder if I have those with me??
Hmmm, yes, I was thinking about wings also. I wonder how fragile it is?
Darn, missed the party I guess. Looks like a great time
I love a ninja because I am a ninja. Well it kinda makes sense you know like an office romance
Thanks Tammy  Happy Thanksgiving one and all!!
Thank-you. My three teenagers and I have already improved our lives in a huge way. We have started over with only what we need and have been fortunate to have gained some "nice to have" things because of the kindness of others. It's amazing how happy you can be with just enough. I just started a new job on Monday teaching Grade Primary from now until the end of June and I know that now that I focus on the positive, I believe everything will work out the way it should. I'm getting stronger and I think I might start working on bears again soon. Life is good!!
Hi. I know a lot of you don't know me as it has been a long time since I posted but for those who do,you can pm me if you would like my new email address. Thanks,Shari.
Thanks everyone for your kind words and warm welcome back. Mr. Tweedles is on Ebay now, wish me luck!!
Thanks for the nice welcome back. I've been busy teaching grade Primary all year and my term was up just recently. Even though the regular teacher is back from maternity leave,I'm still very involved with the class. I just applied for full time teaching positions and should have interviews next week. Just the thought of it makes my belly do flip flops and I really need to work full time now more than ever.
Tami, I had a wonderful year with the little ones, how about you?
Thanks Daphne for the link, Honey is adorable and I wouldn't mind the missing next joint especially since it looks like it is jointed. That's my worry with Tweedles, his legs look unjointed so I'm not sure how he will be received.
I think I'll put him on Ebay tonight and see what happens. Thanks girls!
Well, I've finally finished a bear, my first in probably a year. This is Mr. Tweedles. I was experimenting with body looks and made this 3-way jointed bear. The legs are not jointed so he is in a permanent sitting position. I'm thinking of putting him on EBay but I'm wondering if the 3-way jointed thing would be a problem for collectors. What do you all think? Here is his picture,he's made out of a tweed wool, hence the name Mr. Tweedles
Great job Shantell, I love her!!
Honey is adorable!!! I wouldn't mind an unjointed neck as long as I knew when I bought the bear that that was the case.
Interesting topic. I have been working on a bear who's legs are not jointed and he is in a permanent sitting position. I would be sure to state this in my auction but I fear that some people only look at the pictures and never read the information.
I havn't been to very many flower shows but I would very much love them if I could go
The person below me is feeling very sleepy and thinking of stealing away for a bit of a nap.
Looks like a Monica Spicer pattern. I could be wrong though. She's Australian. Someone else may know better than me though.
I've had success with a paste of lemon juice and baking soda. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best
I would like to wish all my bear friends a very Merry Christmas and a "Beary blessed" New Year!!  I sure do miss you all now that I'm teaching Grade Primary full time. My job is supposed to end in May so maybe I'll be able to get back to spending more than five minutes on TT and actually get to make a bear. I have three that are almost done (and have been for many months) but never find the time to finish them
I wish you and your families a very wonderful holiday season!!
True. The person below me is blond. Hmm. Let's see.....
