As i've always been a bit of a cow my other half has'nt really noticed any difference.

And he's too scared to mention it if he did bear_laugh

I think that Foo Foo is a Jamaican term for your 'you know what' but don't quote me on it.
My sister in law was married to a Jamaican guy and she started using it and i've used the euphemism ever since!

Dilu - sellotape that head of yours firmly in place! Don't lose it again!

I MELTED my new cooker by putting toast under the grill and then wandering off to watch TV - my smoke alarm did'nt go off either - by the time i smelt something burning all the plastic fittings (knobs etc) had melted onto the floor!

Terry was not happy with me as the kitchen had just been completely refurbished and had to be totally repaired & cleaned of smoke damage etc.
The melted plastic never has come off of the new wood floor and Terry made ME buy a new cooker - i must have felt quite weak at the time because in retrospect i should of told him to shove it where the sun don't shine and just claim it off of the insurance!!!!
I coughed up the cash for a new cooker but intend to get my own back on him in the near future as he broke one of my Grandma's candlesticks - did'nt tell me and just balanced the bits back on top of each other so that when i dusted i thought i had broken it!!!
He owes me big time and i'm gonna milk this for every penny i can get out of him bear_laugh

That'll learn him,

I can sleep for Britain - i hope that it will become a new Olympic sport for the 2012 Olympics.

I also hope that there will be an Olympic Bed-Making competion as i've now got the changing of the duvet down to a fine art and could possibly win the Brits a few gold medals!

Sometimes i can stay up nearly all night and then get up bright & early in the morning then other days i'm like a sloth and can sleep 16 hours a day!

I don't shave my legs anymore as i once grazed all the skin off of my other halfs legs in bed he he he!

I wax now - o what joy it is! The pain is only slightly intolerable (yeah i'm lying through my teeth) and i bite on a towel or something to stop me screaming out obscenities and frightening the cats!

I NEVER shave my armpits, why should i? Men don't! European women quite often don't do their 'pits' but they are catching up with the latest fashion for women to be as bald as day old mice in all the private places.

The pain of waxing under the arms must be excruciating so i'm not even going there  - ditto my foo foo, why would a grown woman want her 'bits' bald like a baby? YUK bear_shocked

I agree with the opaque pantyhose thing - wear 'em anyway, blow the fashion for sheer tights and don't bother with depilation until the spring bulbs start coming up or you start trapping your leg hairs in your trainer laces.

At some point you have to thin out the best of the rest Heather.

What i do is keep the whole file for a few months, by then you have probably worked on the best piccies and will have 'fiddled' with them. Always save the original photos' in their original size and format in an appropriately named album and save the finished article under a sub heading. Occasionally copy all your pics to a disc.

NEVER get rid of pics until you've held onto them for a few months cos you'd be suprised how useful they can be

Deb, if you have'nt already attached the head to the body, un-stuff it, take the eyes out etc. and remake a new head - bald is not good.

If you don't have more of the same mohair for a second head use another type!

If you have already attached the head, cut the joint off and as above start again!! bear_ermm

What a pain in the arse!!!!

Good luck Deb

My favourite films are:

O Brother Where Art Thou? directed by the Cohen Brothers who also made the fantastic 'Fargo' too

Night of the Hunter - starring Robert Mitcham, Shelley Winters and Lillian Gish and directed by Charles Laughton - VERY SCARY OLD MOVIE bear_shocked

'Heat' - 'Casino' - both great nasty movies, lots of gangster type action - Sharon Stone is great in Casino

An Affair to Remember - who would'nt cry when Deborah Kerr finally gets back together with Cary Grant

Chocolat - Johnny Depp looking gorgeous as a river gypsy in France and Juliette Binoche looking better than should be legally allowed bear_tongue

Lots more movies i love but i can't put them all down as i would be here for days!

Hi Kirsten,
It's really nice to hear from you again Kirsten - i hope you are feeling well.

I just pay for hosting but i would be willing to up to $200 for a well designed site although i would have to have full ownership and control over updates as i can't bear to have to ask someone else do it for me (i'm struggling my way through html at the moment so i have full control).

Good Luck to your husband with web designing

Shantell - i shall light a candle for your sons friend and for Taylor too.

I shan't forget you either Shantell, it can't be easy for you.

I personally love American accents and i agree with Mandie - those southern states have the most wonderful accents!

Bet George W. wishes he'd never won the election now, his terms of office have'nt exactly gone smoothly have they?

Can you lot vote in George Clooney as next President? he may not be a lot of use but i bet the female interest in politics would hit an all time high - i'd even consider emigrating to the USA - No maybe it's not such a good idea after all, What have you Yanks done to deserve that!

Yes, fingers crossed that the latest hurricane gets bored with destruction and mayhem and gets lost on the way to the US - maybe Rita could burn herself out (that's hurricane Rita not our Rita on TeddyTalk)!

Yeah Clare - my other half is gonna look like Quasimodo after a couple of piggie back rides around the local Tesco !

He's a bit of a fitness fanatic (my other half not Quasimodo) and does triathlons so it could be the extra bit of training he needs - or the straw that breaks the camels back

Whatever hits the US eventually hits us too so i'm training the old man to give me piggy back rides bear_grin

Hi Rita,
I think your bear is FAB!

I usually understuff the arms and legs at the tops a little so they sag and flop a bit - give them smaller, flatter noses and loosely joint them.  A looser stuffing in the body gives them a nice wrinkly look too.

Having said all that, your bear is perfect and very sweet and i love the colour too (i've got a soft spot for pale bears).

Here's a piccy of the old looking bear that i'm flogging on ebay at the moment Rita - let me know what you think.

Hi Marie.

Yes i sometimes think he can talk - i think i've heard him say he would like more chocolate please - but i can't be sure. Although all my chocolate had disappeared when i got up this morning so suspect that Wallace comes to life when i'm in bed!

Marion - i would give my right arm if i thought it would help someone but i'll be damned if i would share gorgeous George with anyone! hohohohoho bear_grin

Thanks Kim - i hope he does well for the charity too (Wallace not George Clooney)

Thanks Sue Ann

They say it's better to give than to receive don't they? I think it's true - unless someone is gonna offer to give me George Clooney as a Christmas pressie, in that case there's NO WAY i'd pass that gift up!

wall01.jpgHi Girls.

I thought Wallace was one of my sweetest bears - he had such great character and kindness about him - so i took him off of eBay and donated him to my favourite charity. Some bears are just toooo nice nice to make money from don't you think? It's a bit like selling your favourite auntie!
So, here's Wallace for you to take a look at. Keep your fingers and toesies crossed that he makes lots of money for The Progeria Research Foundation ( www.progeriaresearch.org ) and helps sick children.

Penny bear_tongue

P.S. I would only have spent the cash on flashy shoes that i could'nt walk in anyway so it's no big deal - Jimmy Choo shoes are over rated anyway hehehehe

gotobedbears

Millie of Potters House Bears is donating a bear too Amanda and she says she's made child friendly bears before so she's the one to ask i think - i know that plastic eyes are'nt as nice but when you are a kid you just don't notice things like that.
Besides your bears are so cute plastic eyes are'nt going to detract from it all bear_happy

Penny  - your ever grateful beary mate bear_tongue

I would love to have a go at the wee bears, although at the moment i am downsizing one of my designs from 16" to 10" and will try that out first. The thought of working on bears as small as 1 1/2" is scary!
I don't know how you do it girls!
