Valentine's Day is Wednesday, February 14th and I was just wondering what everyone is planning for their Honey??? I'm taking my honey out to eat with my daughter and my husband has a surprise for me he hasn't shared it yet with me.

Catherine - Thanks for sharing!! We have only had one lite snow so far this year in Cleveland, Tennessee. It wasn't even an inch. Maybe we will get one before to long. What a wonderful surprise for you to wake up and see.

Yeap!! Johnna is the BEST when it comes to costumer service and being sooooooooooooooooo friendly!! I won't purchase Mohair from anyone else because I have built a relationship with Intercal due to Johnna's friendly and welcoming personality!! That means a lot to me!!!

Mindy - I'm sorry you are having sore losers accuse you falsely. Why would anyone think you have anything to do with it?? People can be so cold and mean. My thoughts are unless you have FACTS don't speak or accuse people of a crime. Why hurt someone unless you have proof they have done something wrong? Mindy you are a wonderful person as far as I know. I have only heard nice things about you. I appreciate everything you have ever done for TBAF. I didn't get nominated this year and will try again next year. Yes, I felt sad like everyone that didn't get nominated. Not everyone can be a nominee out of dozens of entries. I'm glad to see so many TT entries get nominated. I know it must hurt you to have people accuse you for something like fixing a contest. I wouldn't let it get you down to much. Hold you head up high and march forward. You have handled it well!!

This Benson and I entered him in the Toby and Golden Teddy Awards. He wasn't a Toby nominee. Maybe next year will be my year. Who knows???
Thanks everyone for the sweet comments. I've been so busy today and haven't thought anymore about it. This was my first Toby entry and my second Golden Teddy entry. I will try again next year but may enter more than one??? I love Benson and probably will keep him for myself. Besides its time for me to keep one of my bears. I don't own any of my own work and he would be hard to part with.

Your work is out standing and don't you stop making bears! We all can not be picked and it is the luck of the draw....he is a winner in my books... in fact I think everyone is a winner..besides no one knows what the judges may like from year to year. Keep up the good work. Look at what you have done last year and having your bears in the paper and a showing to boot. No more crying ...pull up your socks and smile as tomorrow is a new day.

I'm not giving up making my bears. I couldn't stop doing something that brings me such joy in doing!! I'm alright!! It was just the first feeling of disappointment of finding out like so many others probably felt a little sad. As a matter of fact I spent all weekend painting and buying more work tables, shelves, and storage for my work room. I now have all my teddy bear supplies in one room instead of throughout the house. Okay, except when I'm not sleeping at night and working in bed watching TV. BAD HABIT!! LOL!!

Thank you all!! I will quit feeling sorry for myself and say what Shelli says it SUCKS!! I would hate to be a judge for sure! I'll move forward and continue to create bears!!! Besides tomorrow is a new day!!
